Coraz bliżej do premiery 4K UHD "Samoloty, pociągi i samochody" i pojawiają się pierwsze opinie. Niestety ta od Roberta Harrisa nie jest zbyt zachęcająca:

Initially, back when the John Hughes set was released, I presumed (possibly incorrectly) that it was one of the worst Blu-rays I'd ever seen.
I've checked to make certain that it was shot in 35mm, and it was.
I've checked to make certain that I was viewing the 4k and not the Blu-ray, and I was.
But what I'm seeing appears to be a bit cleaner and more cohesive image than on the Blu-ray, which still isn't Blu-ray quality.
No grain. No look of cinema or film.
Could this be the old transfer, cleaned up?
Not a clue, but what's obvious is that Paramount has released a new 4k of the film, that has far less than 2k resolution, and I have no idea why.
A waste of plastic.

A spodziewałem się poprawy obrazu nawet większej niż w Reservoir Dogs, o ile Paramount niczego nie zmaści... A może RAH zwariował i dostaniemy chociaż coś na miarę porządnego Blu-ray'a ? Dowiemy się już wkrótce, ale ja na razie wstrzymuję pre-ordera.
Nie ogarniam co ten Paramount wyrabia. Potrafią wydawać referencje i tuż obok bawią się jak Universal za najlepszych lat. Zostaję przy DVD w takim razie
Uuuu a myślałem że to będzie Blind Buy... No nic poczekamy zobaczymy, najwyżej się wstrzyma z kupnem i poczeka aż będzie latać za grosze, bo od tego pierwszego wydania BD na pewno nie będzie gorzej, chociaż kto wie ?
Wosk chyba nawet większy niż z BD, ale pewnie youtube'owa kompresja tutaj dodała coś od siebie.
Ale w jednym Harris nie ma racji - to na pewno jest jakiś nowy skan, bo nie widzę tutaj masakrycznie przeostrzonego obrazu i przepałów (np. okno od 1:14). Poza tym kadrowanie, AR (1.85:1 vs 1.78:1) i kolorki są nieco inne.
