Cytat:NEW RELEASE UPDATE!
Before THE DEVILS... there was MOTHER JOAN OF THE ANGELS!
An update on our release…
After announcing our planned release, we were made aware of a brand new 4K restoration of the film that had been recently completed.
We’re delighted to say that we have secured this new master for our release and Second Run will now release Jerzy Kawalerowicz’s astonishing MOTHER JOAN OF THE ANGELS in this stunning new 4K restoration on Blu-ray on 23 NOVEMBER 2026.
A landmark of Polish cinema, Kawalerowicz’s film is a spare and profoundly disturbing exploration of faith, repression, fanaticism and sexuality.
