Na BD The Last Jedi też wygląda słabo, zwłaszcza czernie. Kolejny film z tego uniwersum, czyli Solo, też ma problemy z obrazem, ale mimo wszystko wyglada lepiej niż TLJ, jak dla mnie.
Przykro patrzeć jak Disney traktuje markę SW. Fox jaki był, taki był, ale całosciowo jednak trochę lepiej sie z nią obchodził.
Smutne to ale prawdziwe
Brak czerni w takich filmach to prawdziwa tragedia, jednak sytuacja oby filmów jest bardzo odmienna. W przypadku SOLO mamy do czynienia ze specyficznym stylem Bradforda Younga (Arrival) i pewną nowatorską - jak na SW - koncepcją kolorystyczną.

"Chris and Phil’s main visual reference was McCabe & Mrs Miller (1971, dir. Robert Altman), shot by Vilmos Zsigmond ASC. The tonality in the narrative and Vilmos’ cinematography really brought me in. I feel my cinematography is about being naturalistic, with a subdued imprint in the way the camera technology and lighting are used.

W przypadku TLJ Steve Yedlin coś przekombinował, a jak czytałem komentarze na Blu-ray.com, osób które pisały że przecież nie każdy nowy film musi być wizytówką 4K, HDR itp. to ręce opadały.
