Niestety bardzo szybko zostało wysprzedane a na wznowienie trzeba było czekać do stycznia tego roku. I na razie są to jedyne dwa wydania oferujące ten film na nośnikach innych niż DVD. Trochę dziwne, że Paramount nie zdecydował się wypuścić oddzielnie BD (płyty są dołączone do wydań UHD), no i ciekawe kiedy pojawi się coś w Europie.

Romans osadzony w świecie hokeja: Shane Hollander i Ilya Rozanov to dwie gwiazdy Major League Hockey, połączone ambicją, rywalizacją i magnetycznym przyciąganiem, którego żaden z nich w pełni nie rozumie.

Z okazji, że seria trafi w najbliższy piątek, 6 lutego, na polskie HBO warto przybliżyć co to jest.
Heated Rivalry to prawie idealna adaptacja książki Rachel Reid o tym samym tytule. Serial szybko stał się globalnym fenomenem (głównie wśród kobiet). Jacob Tierney to twórca, reżyser i główny scenarzysta - jest ojcem sukcesu Gorącej Rywalizacji i nie dał zmienić swojej wizji homofobicznym amerykańskim stacjom. Jeśli chodzi o obsadę, to postawiono na nieznanych aktorów: Hudson Williams, Connor Storrie, François Arnaud, Sophie Nélisse - i bardzo dobrze, bo ileż można oglądać te same twarze we wszystkich produkcjach, a tutaj trafiono na prawdziwy talent. Chemia między aktorami, scenografia, muzyka, scenariusz, aktorstwo - wszystko absolutnie zagrało i widać, że serial został zrobiony z sercem i szacunkiem do książek.

Życzę młodym aktorom wspaniałych karier i mam nadzieję, że nie zepsuje ich ta nagła popularność.]]>

„Wywiad z wampirem” to amerykański serial telewizyjny z gatunku horroru gotyckiego, wyprodukowany przez Rolina Jonesa dla AMC, oparty na „Kronikach wampirów” Anne Rice - tytuł nawiązuje do pierwszej książki. W rolach głównych występują Jacob Anderson jako Louis de Pointe du Lac i Sam Reid jako Lestat de Lioncourt oraz Bailey Bass jako Claudia.

Jest rok 2022. Wampir Louis de Pointe du Lac mieszka w Dubaju i pragnie opowiedzieć historię swojego życia, a może raczej życia po przemienieniu w wampira, znanemu dziennikarzowi Danielowi Molloyowi. Akcja opowieści rozpoczyna się w Nowym Orleanie na początku XX wieku. Historia Louisa koncentruje się na jego relacji z wampirem Lestatem de Lioncourtem i swoją rodziną, w tym młodą Claudią. W miarę trwania wywiadu, Molloy odkrywa prawdę kryjącą się za historią Louisa.

Moim zdaniem bardzo fajna produkcja. Może czasem za bardzo teatralna, ale bawiłem się świetnie. W tym roku trzeci sezon zatytułowany Anne Rice's The Vampire Lestat - adaptacja drugiej książki z serii.
