Jezeli ktos planuje te filmy kupic to polecalbym to wydanie a nie wspomniany box. W sumie zalezy, kto jakie wydania lubi, bo co prawda zawartosc plyt wydaje sie byc taka sama, ale tutaj jest taniej o kilka funtow, no i rozsadek podpowiada (jak i facebook eureki), ze nie bedzie wtopy ze znikajacym dziwiekiem, jak to bylo w przypadku pierwszej edycji.

The Iron-Fisted Monk [1977] Sammo Hung s directorial debut, The Iron-Fisted Monk introduced many of the choreographic and editing techniques that would become commonplace in modern action cinema. A significantly darker and more violent film than audiences were used to, the film was originally cut when released on UK home video, but is presented here fully uncut for its worldwide Blu-ray debut from a brand new 2K restoration.

The Magnificent Butcher [1979] Directed by the legendary Yuen Woo-ping as a spiritual successor to his earlier smash hit, Drunken Master, The Magnificent Butcher stars Sammo as Butcher Lam Sai-wing, a pupil of Wong Fei-hung (the role Jackie Chan portrayed in Drunken Master, but here played by Kwan Tak-hing who played the legendary folk hero in over 70 films). When Lam is framed for murder by a rival clan, he must track down the real murderer and fight to clear his name. To be strong enough to have a chance of winning, he must train under the original Drunken Master, Beggar So! Presented from a brand new 2K restoration.

Eastern Condors [1987] Quite possibly Sammo s best film, this high-kicking tribute to The Dirty Dozen sees ten convicts offered amnesty if they undertake a deadly mission behind enemy lines in Vietnam to destroy a top-secret munitions dump. Presented here fully uncut for the first time ever in the UK, and from a brand new 2K restoration, this film is an absolute must-see!

Ten moment, w którym dopiero co kupiłeś African Queen... Zresztą Dynamita też mam, więc raczej pass, bo to przypuszczalnie ten sam transfer. Ale wydania zacnie się zapowiadają.

Jakby to kogoś interesiło, to box Fullera przypuszczalnie wyprzedany.

Co do fabuły, to nie wiem co jest w nim takiego szczególnego, bo z trailera to za bardzo mi nie przypadł do gustu.
Może na zachodzie bardziej doceniają nasze kino, tak jak np:. było w przypadku "Córek dancingu", u nas ten film przeszedł bez echa.
A w Polsce zamiast promować nasze kino, królują wciąż dvd a na bluray wydaje się odgrzewane kotlety sprzed lat.

Ale czy to nie jest tak, że popyt kształtuje podaż w tym wypadku? Duży, międzynarodowy wydawca może sobie pozwolić na wydawanie kina mało znanego, elitarnego w pewnym sensie, a takie nasze krajowe cherlawce muszą się ratować żeby przetrwać na dłuższą metę, więc wydają to co wydają, a na droższych nośnikach przeważnie to co najlepiej się sprzeda.

W sumie masz po trochu rację, ale tam nawet małych wydawców stać na wydanie zagranicznych filmów np: taki label Mr. Bongo, tam kupiłem "Rękopis znaleziony w Saragossie" i "Sanatorium pod Klepsydrą", a oni w sumie głównie są nastawieni na muzykę. U nas chyba tylko FINA coś tam działa i inni wydawcy typu Studio Blu filmy z kolekcji 50 lat studia Tor itp

Gdyby prawa do filmu miał np. Galapagos czy Kino Świat to pewnie doczekalibyśmy się filmu w Polsce, ale w tym przypadku trafiło na Monolith, który ostatni film na BD wypuścił... ponad rok temu.

Nowy film od reżysera Cichej nocy ? Biorę w ciemno.
