Wrażenie, jakie Hopkins zrobił na widzach trzyma nas wszystkich w klinczu i rzeczywiście trudno się przestawić oglądając Manhuntera. Jednak patrząc z perspektywy realizmu, jeśli w 5 minut widać, że z kimś jest bardzo źle (czyt. jest ekstremalnie pojebany) to to niekoniecznie jest właściwy wizerunek psychopatów. Lecter, będąc wybitnie inteligentny powinien się hamować i zachowywać "normalnie". Tymczasem popisy Hopkinsa jednak zdradzają bardzo wiele w ramach świata przedstawionego. Na tym tle Brian Cox wypada o wiele bardziej naturalnie, dzięki czemu łatwiej jest mi uwierzyć, że mordował przez wiele lat, bez specjalnych konsekwencji i wykrycia. Tutaj wybija się moim zdaniem Ralph Fiennes w "Czerwonym smoku", który w miejscach publicznych zachowuje się jak nieśmiały i małomówny człowiek, więc łatwo sobie wyobrazić, że po wydarzeniach przedstawionych w filmie jego współpracownicy zszokowani nie mogli uwierzyć co się stało - "zawsze mówił dzień dobry na klatce". W tym ujęciu aktorstwo Coxa ma jednak więcej sensu, przy całym szacunku dla Hopkinsa.

Nie powiem z czym Mann się na głowy pozamieniał... Jakaś nadzieja jest o tyle, że ten tekst został skompilowany przez AI, więc może jest tam jak zwykle trochę nazmyślane. Fabularne i dialogowe zmiany, o ile nie są drastyczne, jeszcze przeżyłbym, ale "uwspółcześnienie" wyglądu filmu to byłaby katastrofa.

Przeczytałem to trzy razy i nie rozumiem co tu jest dated. Niektórym powinno się zabronić dostępu do własnych filmów po latach. W sumie wychodzi na to, że chyba tylko De Palma i Dante nie ocipieli na starość. Tyle dobrze, że specjalnie zapuściłem sobie ostatnio losowe sceny z blu i tamten transfer jak najbardziej się trzyma, więc nie ma lipy i można mieć wyjebane.
